#3 Stay Positive: It’s easy to get discouraged when things aren’t going your way, but it’s important to keep a positive attitude. Being curt or disrespectful to your superior is never—under any circumstances—a good idea. If you feel you are being treated unfairly, you need to present your case and back it up with facts. Remember: the more polite and professional you are, the more likely they’ll take your case into consideration.
